TMJ Therapy

TMJ disorders (TMD) can be caused by many things: a minor blow to the jaw, whiplash, head or neck trauma, genetic predisposition, difficult childbirth, missing teeth, unresolved chronic pain issues, and more. These may all result in painful jaw disorders. The disruption of smooth jaw movement can eventually lead to head, neck, and jaw pain.

Sleep Apnea

Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) is a condition where the tissues of the throat and tongue completely block the airway, causing brief periods of suffocation which can dangerously reduce the body's oxygen levels. The brain then alerts the muscles of the airway to open the blocked airway which disrupts sleep quality, making patients wake up tired.
